Full of local charm, history and with a strong pride in community, Penngrove is an unincorporated and census-defined town in Sonoma County just north of Petaluma.
Penngrove Cares is a community forum for issues affecting the Penngrove area.
Our downtown Main Street boasts an eclectic array of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, occupying a variety of historic buildings, several dating back to the 1800’s when Penngrove was a center of the US chicken and egg industry, back in the day when having your own chickens paid better than having your own gold mine.
